Week 8 eLab

I had used this site before but didn't like it, however this was before the new changes that they made with the over all design and layout. I have to confess I like the new design. But I am still not fond of the over all site, I am not too sure why?

It is however a good site for discussions and comments. On you tube is a guy called Ted Forbes who does a show called the Art of Photography, and he has a link to the you tube channel, flickr page. He mentions that within the you tube videos that discussions often take place, and that people can upload photos every so often in relation to a certain topic that they are holding. It would therefore seem evident that the idea of flickr seems to be that they want to creat groups or sets of people in which there is a shared genre of photography, thus you can eliminate background noise. 

I prefer 500px it is very smooth and clean in its look. And the photography standard is very high, however lots of photoshop is done. It should be noted that flickr offers a lot of free storage while 500px is a paid service, if you upload over x amount of pictures. I made an account however I was not too active on it. https://500px.com/georgeh205 this must have been from a long time ago. now that i think of it.
