I was looking last summer at Java code, however I didn't work at it very hard and so didn't learn much. However I have recently come across Adobe Flex, which allows for programs to be coded and used on the internet, but you can also make applications for ios through the swift language and I think you can make applications for android aswell. It would therefore seem to be a very good idea to become somewhat familiar with this coding style as maybe one day I could exploit this skill.
It uses xml and I think something to do with ActionScript, the xml is a similar markup language as html, in terms of syntax, the actionscript however will need a little more work when trying to understand syntax.
